Hartbeespoort based artist Kobus Möller has just completed one of his largest masterpieces and is travelling abroad today to personally deliver the creation.
Kobus traveled to the United States for the first time in 1991 and was overwhelmed by the American people who invited him into their homes and hearts.
The art work that Kobus is about to deliver was a commission for the Sagemont Church in Houston Texas.
Kobus has during his visits to the States built strong relationships with art lovers and this time was no different. Kobus has become a member of the church and often visits the congregation when he spends time in the area.
The panels are 2.4m X 1.2m each and there are twenty of them. The twenty panels were divided into eleven panels for the bigger pieces and three each for the other three works. The larger pieces are approximately 15m x 2.4m and the other three measure 6m x 1.2m each. The completed project was shipped to the United States last week and has already arrived at its destination.
Kobus has amongst others praised Naleen Venter, an entrepreneur of Hartbeespoort that assisted him during the creation of the art work and also said that he was looking forward to his trip and sharing his experiences with readers when he returns..
